Location

The Pyrenees Orientales stretch south east from Andorra towards Perpignan and the Mediterranean, and from the French part of the ancient Catalonian nation which used to reach down into Spain beyond Barcelona.

The Catalan culture is still very much in evidence in this part of France, which adds greatly to the appeal of the area. Here you can find verdant landscapes, thermal spas, rustic villages and friendly bars.
