Formigueres has its own ski resort with 17 downhill runs, rising from 1700m to 2350m. It is ideal for novices and experts alike. Within easy access are another 9 well equipped resorts, made affordable by purchasing the Neige Catalan pass.

Snow making facilities ensure consistently perfect conditions without long queues and frantic slopes. For the cross country skiier there is over a 100km of local cross country trails leading from the back of the Gite.
